There are about 11000 taxis in New York. They have to bring passengers even if it is dangerous. There are many no taxi license drivers in New York, so we have to care of their license and number.
There is a ferries in New York. It connects between Manhattan and Brooklyn. I was surprised because it is free to ride.

Do you ride in New York taxis very often? Do you drive one? I'd like to visit NYC to see the architecture and the carvings on the buildings. Life is supposed to be interesting. eeek
